There are unique properties and this is one of those cases. The Casa do Comendador was built in 1850 by Luiz Passanha, the Commander of Ferreira do Alentejo. It is the only emblazoned house in the town and the only neo-romantic house in the Baixo Alentejo region. It is an historical building, exempt of taxes, and eligible for Golden Visa.
